Heiko Lade has a weekly radio show “Acupuncture on Air” and will be a guest lecturer at the NZSATCM on 7th May 2021
Heiko Lade has been in practice for over 30 years both in Australia and New Zealand. He has a masters degree in Chinese herbal medicine from the University of Technology, Sydney and studied acupuncture under Professor Lou Bai Cen in Hangzhou in 1984.
After moving to New Zealand in 1998 he has taught acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in both Christchurch and Auckland. In addition, he has also served as president of Acupuncture New Zealand and currently practices in Hastings, Hawkes Bay.
Schools and universities in both Australia and New Zealand deliver excellent Bachelor programs which over the years have become more structured and organized and are graduating well educated and clinical experienced practitioners.
It has been said though, that the real learning starts when you leave school and go out into the real world and start seeing real people outside of the protective educational environment.
To be fully versed in advertising and marketing can require another degree in itself, but the basics of the required principles can be learnt and applied.
Heiko Lade learnt the hard way by trial and error and accumulating experiences, good and bad, over the decades. He will share all the mistakes he did early on in his career and how pain staking slow he was to learn to change his bad habits.
Fortunately, Heiko was able to accelerate his growth by sponsoring The Acu Guys, Sohial Farzam and Hamish Reid to present their Turbocharge your Health Practice weekend seminars in New Zealand. Their book In Demand: The Health Professionals Guide to a Winning Practice is a must for any practitioner to help them succeed in the market place.
Some of The Acu Guys totally logically and useable ideas and concepts from the seminars and their book will be presented in this short one hour lecture. In addition, Heiko will share what has worked for him over the years.
This lecture will aim to enthuse and motivate students to start on their next hidden degree of advertising and marketing and make their acupuncture degree work for them ultimately providing them a rewarding career. It is hoped that this one hour will be the stepping stone to book in with The Acu Guys when they present at the college at the end of the year 2021.
The lecture if for free to all students on the New Zealand School of Acupuncture and TCM and members of Acupuncture New Zealand are invited to attend by any small donation at the door to the college.
