The Acu Guys, Hamish Reid and Sohial Farzam from Melbourne presented their well known Turbocharge your Health Practice for the first time in New Zealand, Auckland on February 29th and March 1st 2020.
There is a saying somewhere that says, that one person equals 1 unit of energy but two people focused on the same goal is equal to 10 units of energy. This was definitely exemplified over the weekend when Sohial and Hamish powered through masses of information, ideas and suggestions to transform your practice into a lucrative and financially viable one. Combine the two of them and you will leave the weekend feeling ten times as confident and motivated.
The two of them are such a great motivational team and a true inspiration for the workshop attendees. Hamish Reid is more focused on delivering the nuts and bolts and practicality of what is required to make your practice grow. Sohial Farzam targets his presentations to the emotional and psychological aspects of the practitioners mindset.
What blockages does the practitioner have that is hindering the attraction of patients? Have you set the parameter of what your ideal client actually is?

These guys are coming from years of experience including their own admitted financial loss and failure and then how they got back up again. No secrets are kept from them. They have spent a fortune on advertising which they told us sadly went nowhere and they are here now to tell you how to put it right. They actually reveal to you how to build up your practice without having to spending a cent on advertising.
The turnout of attendees brought in practitioners came from as far away as Invercargill as well as attracting a good mix of already established practitioners and recent graduates. It was refreshing to see like minded people motivated to improve their lot in life and take that first step in admitting they need help in improving themselves and their clinics.
No-one left empty handed. A massive workbook PowerPoint print out was supplied, with both them constantly encouraging attendees during their presentation, ” Write this down, this is important“. I can categorically say that everyone did write it down and was eager to interrupt them to make sure they got every word down.
Their presentation over the weekend portrayed efficiency, organisation and motivation. They couldn’t wait till get started, breaks were short and sweet and everyone was eager to return to their seats as soon as possible. Both of The Acu Guys hardly had a chance to have a break or time for lunch as attendees approached them afterwards and Hamish and Sohial just kept talking, advising and helping.
Not only did attendees say that they would recommend others to do the workshop, but many said they would like to do it again.
I simply can’t recommend enough this Turbocharge workshop. The information gained from the Turbocharge weekend can be applied to any health care professional groups, and not just acupuncturists.
