It is World Acupuncture Awareness Week November 16-22. Acupuncture NZ and many of its members are helping promote the benefits of acupuncture throughout the country.
Here in Hawkes Bay there is a lot going on as part of it. I am hosting a radio show each morning at 9am on Radio Kidnappers 1431AM and 104.7 FM with Ken Morrison, well known morning DJ on the station.
Ken Morrison is also programme administrator of the radio station.
The good news is that today the show today even took precedence over their regular slot with MP Craig Foss. Health before politics can only be a good thing!
There will be a free acupuncture clinic at the Hertaunga Women’s Health Centre coming up on Thursday 19th November run by Trudi Collins, one of the Hawkes bay Acupuncture NZ members.
On Thursday morning 9 am I will speaking live with Scott Pearson of the Newtown Acupuncture Centre who set up an acupuncture clinic right opposite Wellington hospital and we will discuss how he is interacting and working together with the medical professionals there.
